SAN ANTONIO (July 12, 2026) — Theta Chi Fraternity announced the winners of 2025/2026’s Operation: Military Red during the 170th Anniversary Convention. Operation: Military Red is an annual competition among all chapters and colonies to see who can raise the most money and volunteer the most hours for the United Service Organizations (USO), the Fraternity’s philanthropic partner.

- 2025/2026 USO Service Award: Iota Theta/Central Florida
Beta Phi/Nevada received the USO Fundraising Award for its USO Challenge Week and cookie fundraiser that raised $20,000 for the USO.
Iota Theta/Central Florida received the USO Service Award for its efforts in hosting several weeks of social media campaigns and campus events and engaging the Greek community in online giving campaigns and additional opportunities to support the USO. Together, the brothers of Iota Theta volunteered 535 service hours.
Through their fundraising, service, and commitment to extending the Helping Hand, Beta Phi and Iota Theta chapters helped continue Theta Chi’s longstanding support of the USO and its mission to strengthen the well-being of America’s service members and their families.
In total, Theta Chi chapters and colonies raised more than $158,200 and volunteered over 6,500 hours for the USO during the 2025/2026 academic year—an all-time record!
Since Theta Chi’s partnership with the USO began in 2013, brothers, alumni, chapters, and colonies have raised $1,548,523.01 and contributed 179,020.5 service hours in support of service members and their families.
