It strives to guide our collegiate brothers to get the most out of their collegiate experience to best prepare them for life after graduation. Resolute Man FAQs

Can I become a Resolute Man through more than one track?

Yes, you can qualify as a Resolute Man through all three tracks. However, you will only receive one guard for your badge.  

Can I apply for more than one experience?

Yes, you can apply for any experience that is advertised, and you can apply for any new experiences that become available during your time as a collegian.  

How will I celebrate becoming a Resolute Man?

  • Depending on which track you take to becoming a Resolute Man, you will have a ceremony in which you receive the distinguished honor of earning that title.  
  • Individual Track – You will receive the recognition with your chapter brothers at a predetermined ceremony.  
  • Event Track – You will receive the recognition with your cohort group at the end of one of our international events.  
  • Experience Track – You will receive the recognition from the host of the experience at the conclusion of the experience.  

Who is eligible to become a Resolute Man?

  • Any collegian can apply to become a Resolute Man and can apply at any time.  
  • To qualify through the Individual Track, you must submit evidence reaching the minimum requirements highlighted in The Resolute Man workbook. 
  • To qualify through the Event Track or Experience Track, you must apply and be selected by International Headquarters Staff and attend all parts of the event or experience.  

What is the final application fee?

This $25 fee covers the cost of your guard. You will need to submit your final application fee if you are applying through the Individual Track for your application to be reviewed for consideration. 

If you are applying for the Event Track or Experience Track you will receive a prompt to pay your final application fee if you have been selected for the event or experience.  

What costs are there in becoming a Resolute Man?

  • Besides the final application fee, applicants on the Individual Track will be responsible for any registration fees for seminars, conferences, or events that they choose to attend.  
  • Selected applicants for the Event Track will need to cover their transportation costs and there will be a registration fee for attendees (location and cost TBD).  
  • Selected applicants for the Experience Track will need to cover their transportation costs. Food (alcohol not included), and lodging will be expensed to Theta Chi.  

What if I apply through the Individual Track and have a requirement missing?

After you have submitted your application and paid your application fee, someone from the International Headquarters Staff will contact you to help you complete the application if anything is missing.
