Alpha Phi/Alabama Alumnus to Receive Special Gift
Michael Smalley was 18 years old when his journey with Lupus began. Diagnosed while a student at the University of Alabama, he battled the disease with chemotherapy, steroids and multiple surgeries, including open heart surgery at the age of 37.
Fraternity president gains citizenship
Victor Torres is a junior vocal music education major at SFA. He is a part of the Order of Omega, Texas Choral Directors Association, A Capella choir, College Democrats, Jack Camp and the president of SFA’s chapter of Theta Chi. Torres has a busy schedule with a lot on his mind, but as of Oct. 17, there’s one less thing for him to worry about—his citizenship.

Local attorney Nate Hibben was drawn to the law. His path took him from his Central Iowa hometown, to law school in Virginia and, eventually, brought him here to Torrington.

Pacific Chorale today announced the appointment of Andrew Brown as its new President and Chief Executive Officer. Brown comes to the Chorale following a 17-year tenure at Los Angeles Master Chorale, where he worked his way up from administrative assistant to Chief Operating Officer.
