Mike & Mike to be Inducted into the National Radio Hall of Fame

Mike & Mike, ESPN Radio’s long-running morning drive program, will be inducted into the National Radio Hall of Fame this November. The show was hosted by Mike Golic and Mike Greenberg. It was broadcast nationally from 2000 – 2017 and will become part of the Active Network/Syndication,10+ years category.
Golic said, “It’s an honor to be going into the National Radio Hall of Fame and to be recognized with Greeny for our 18 years of success with Mike & Mike. When I began my radio career in Phoenix 23 years ago, I never anticipated ending up where I am today. It’s been a great ride, and I am extremely grateful.”

Greenberg stated, “I’d like to thank all of the people that voted for us, all the talented men and women who worked on our show over the years, and most of all I’d like to thank Mike. Our partnership of 18 years was by far the best thing that ever happened to me in my professional life.”
Traug Keller, ESPN senior vice president, ESPN Audio, commented, “Two great guys getting recognized for making millions of people enjoy their ride to work each day. They left them smiling. That is no insignificant contribution.”
A panel of nearly 1,000 radio industry professionals voted to induct Mike & Mike. The National Radio Hall of Fame is a museum dedicated to recognizing those who have contributed to the development of the radio medium throughout its history in the United States.
