This month’s Volunteer Spotlight highlights Chad Strelow,Theta Psi/Wisconsin-Oshkosh 1999.
This month, Chad served as lead facilitator at Theta Chi Fraternity’s premiere event for emerging leaders, The Initiative Academy. Chad also served as lead facilitator at the Initiative Academy’s Alpha Class in 2011.
Brother Strelow has a long tradition of being at the forefront of Theta Chi Fraternity’s Leadership Education. After graduation, he traveled the country for a year as a Leadership and Education Consultant specializing in expansion before accepting the position of Director of Leadership Development at the International Headquarters.
After he left staff, Chad volunteered on the Fraternity’s Leadership Education Committee for 8 years. This committee was responsible for creating the educational curriculum for over 100 leadership events around the country during his tenure. He also served as a Regional Counselor for the fraternity in Wisconsin from 2003-2010.
Brother Strelow’s service to Theta Chi Fraternity started early as he was a charter member of Theta Psi Chapter and one of its first chapter presidents. He exemplifies the motto of the “Assisting Hand” as well as Theta Chi for Life.
Chad currently works for General Electric Healthcare as the Regional Finance Manager for the Central Division. He lives just outside of Milwaukee, Wisconsin with his wife and two daughters.
