Aditya Rengaswamy receives NIC Undergraduate Award of Distinction

Carmel, IN - Theta Chi Fraternity is proud to announce that Aditya Rengaswamy (Beta Nu/Case Western 2016) has been named a recipient of the North American Interfraternity Conference (NIC) Undergraduate Award of Distinction.

This is the most prestigious award that can be presented to an undergraduate fraternity man in the interfraternal world. The NIC Undergraduate Award of Distinction recognizes a fraternity man who has developed as a leader, and person, striving to embody the values of his fraternity while holding others to the same standard.

During his time as a collegian, Aditya went above and beyond in serving Theta Chi Fraternity and Case Western Reserve University. He was a member of student government for three years, served as a representative for the Student-Life Faculty Senate Committee and as an international ambassador for the Orientation and First Year Experience Officer, and was a co-founder of a chapter of the North East Ohio Student Venture Fund at Case Western. As a member of the Beta Nu Chapter, Aditya held the positions of President, Marshal, Assistant Treasurer, Service Chairman, and was a member of the chapter’s judicial board. He was able to balance all of this while maintaining a grade point average of 3.76 (on a 4.0 scale).

Aditya currently serves as the President of AR Consultancy LLC. Before being recognized by the NIC, Rengaswamy was the 2016 recipient of the Reginald E.F. Colley Award, the highest distinction available to Theta Chi collegians. For a second straight year a brother of Theta Chi has received both the Colley Award and the NIC Undergraduate Award of Distinction (Marcus Gibson, Alpha Phi/Alabama 2015).

Theta Chi Fraternity is extremely proud of Brother Rengaswamy and his continued commitment to Theta Chi, alma mater, and the greater fraternity movement. You can read more about Aditya’s accomplishments in the following article pertaining to his selection as the 2016 Colley Award Recipient.
