Mike Greenberg to host new Radio Show
In a recent annoucement regarding the reshuffling of their radio lineup, ESPN announced Mike Greenberg (Delta Iota/Northwestern 1989) will be making his return to radio. Greenburg, who co-hosted the “Mike & Mike” radio show for nearly 20 years, will be hosting “The Mike Greenberg Show”, starting on August 17. The new show will be on the air from noon to 2 p.m. during weekdays.
Greenberg left the “Mike & Mike” radio show to co-host ESPN’s morning show, “Get Up”. Even though Greenberg will be back doing radio, he’ll still be one of the main co-hosts for “Get Up”.
Greenberg said, "In radio there is an intimacy in the relationship with the audience that is different from any other medium," Greenberg said in a statement. "I have always enjoyed that and am really looking forward to rediscovering it."
