Utilizing support from the USO, the Iota Sigma Chapter at Towson University recently organized a charity event to help children of veterans. The brothers teamed up with the women of Alpha Phi to create and donate more than 100 care packages filled with school supplies. These packages will be sent to the USO DC Metro area stations for their 'Rucksacks to Backpacks' program, which helps children of service members by providing pens, pencils, notebooks, and more to aid them in their schoolwork.
This event not only demonstrated Theta Chi’s commitment to their motto, “an Assisting Hand,” but also highlighted Towson University's strong sense of community and togetherness. Students, teachers, and staff donated to support this effort, revealing the university's commitment to community impact, and making a positive impact beyond campus.
