Four Titan Men Earn All-American Golf Honors

NORMAN, Okla. – Four Illinois Wesleyan men's golfers who played for the national championship team last month were chosen to the Division III PING All-America Teams, announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America on Tuesday, June 18.
Seniors Ben Johnson and Drew Pershing and sophomore Rob Wuethrich were chosen to the second team while sophomore Andrew Abel was a third-team honoree.
Pershing led Illinois Wesleyan with a 72.5 stroke average in 28 total rounds while Johnson was at 72.8, Wuethrich at 73.2 and Abel at 73.4.
