The Brothers of Averett Colony extended a helping hand to the Danville Habitat for Humanity on Feb. 9, 2013. The brothers cleaned up debris from the roofing project, and then split into groups. Some broke concrete, uprooted small trees and bushes, pulled out fence posts, while others assisted with putting vinyl siding on the house. Afterwards, they all helped to clean out a storage shed.
