Five brothers at Alpha Pi Chapter participated in their community’s annual Winter Plunge, “Getting Cold for a Cause,” sponsored by the Rotary Club of Forest Lake, Minnesota. Participants raise pledges and plunge into the frigid water in support of their favorite charity.
Winter Plunge was held Feb 21, 2015 at Lakeside Beach. Brothers Josh Matushin (2015), Andy Day (2016), Sam Riley (2016), Henry Carras (2017), and Christopher “CJ” Kramer (2018) plunged into the frozen lake waters in support of the YMCA and its goal to raise $1,000. In all, $127,379 was raised by the Winter Plunge event.
