2018 General Election Results

Here are our current, known results from the 2018 General Election:

Congressman Mo Brooks (Gamma Sigma/Duke 1975) was reelected to Alabama’s 5th congressional district.

Former Recruitment and Expansion Director & Chief External Relations Officer for the International Headquarters James D. “J.D.” Ford (Beta Lambda/Akron 2005) was elected to the Indiana State Senate for District 29.

Joe Gruters (Gamma Rho/Florida State 2001) was elected to the Florida State Senate for District 23.

Kevin Craig (Eta Sigma/Arkansas Tech 1985) was elected to the New Hampshire House of Representatives for Coos County District 4.

Cameron E. “Cam” Kenney (Zeta New Hampshire 2018) was elected to the New Hampshire House of Representatives for District 6.

Peter Lucido (Eta Phi/Oakland 1983) was reelected to Michigan's House of Representatives for District 36.

Lenny Eliason (Alpha Tau/Ohio 1976) was reelected as the Athens County (Ohio) Commissioner.

Former Leadership and Education Consultant Zach Smith (Iota Beta/Missouri State 2010) was elected to the Franklin Township Community School Corporation School Board in Indianapolis.



Also in the news:

John F. Briscoe Jr. (Zeta Epsilon/Long Beach State 1975) was defeated in his bid to join the U.S. House of Representatives for California’s 47th congressional district.

Matt Rinaldi (Eta Kappa/James Madison 1997) was unsuccessful in retaining his position in the Texas House of Representatives for District 115.

Jim Tom Trent (Eta Gamma/Morehead State 1990) was defeated in his reelection for Mayor of Morehead, KY.
